What if I need to reschedule?

Smith Studios requires a 72-hour notice for cancellations. Clients have the option to (a) reschedule to another Santa session time  (if appointments are available), (b) transfer as credit toward a 2023 “Spring/Summer Special” session. 

***Please always let us know of any sickness in advance so we may work with you to reschedule.***

Can we get a family photo without Santa?

This is a common question and we absolutely encourage a family photo! Especially if you think your little ones may get upset with Santa, it's a great idea to get a smiling photo without Santa first. We have multiple backdrops for this purpose! However, please keep in mind that your session time is limited.

Is my infant/toddler old enough?

That is totally up to you and your comfort level. If your preference is that Santa does not hold your newborn, infant, or toddler (especially if they're crying) we ask that a family member or guardian is prepared to sit with them for the photo. In your image selection process, we will happily include one complimentary *santa swap* if possible to edit a digital Santa in if desired. Due to the time intensive nature of these edits, additional edits are available to purchase. 

Can I print my images anywhere?

Yes, all images you have selected from your package can be downloaded, printed, and shared as you wish! (However, the watermarked images in the gallery prior to your image selection are NOT available to print or share.)

Can my friends and their children share our time?

Please limit one family per session. If cousins or friends wish to do a session together, let us know so we can make sure to schedule them back to back and get a group photo between sessions!

What is the timeline from session to image delivery?

This year, we are bringing extra elves on board to ensure same day image and video selection. After your session, your elf will take you to an area where you can choose your top images or choose to upgrade and purchase all of them. Any minor edits or adjustments will take place after your departure, and delivered to your email by the following day. 

Can I bring a present to have Santa give them?

Yes! We have parents drop off presents early often! This way, it can make its way into Santa's bag for photos!
